OnS: Not him

“Come one Mika, please take these chains off. If you do, we can run away together, some place far away, just you, me and our family.”
 At that moment, Mika wanted nothing more than for the demon’s time to be up, to have Yuu-chan back at his side; his Yuu-chan. What was in front of him now… it wasn’t him, it could never be him. No matter what the demon said or promised, it wasn’t what Yuu-chan would want. Getting no response, the demon decided to change tactics.  
 “… You’re thirsty, aren’t you? Haven’t you drunken any blood today? Did Shinoa or the others give you any?” “Yuu’s” voice was drawled out in a teasing manner, and it made the vampire feel quite uncomfortable.
 True, Mika’s throat felt parched whenever he saw the other squad members it was hard for him to refrain from feeling queasy when he was around them. Now that he was a full vampire because of Yuu, he could drink blood whenever he wished, but he wouldn’t touch any of the squad members even if they offered. He replied to “Yuu” by continuing to stare into the demons’ crimson eyes, like the horns sprouting from his family's head weren't as conspicuous. He was almost afraid that it would never leave, and he would never see Yuu’s emerald eyes again, but he couldn’t show it. He couldn’t let it know he was scared. Just like the vampires, if you showed them a moment of  weakness, they would lunge out and kill you.
“You know… I’d give you some if you free me.”
“…”
 “Yuu” talked more gently, trying to be persuasive as he could in his position.
“I know you haven’t had any blood in about a day, it must be killing you to be walking around the others.” “Yuu” tilted his head slightly to the side, opening his neck. “Come on, take some. Isn’t this what you want, Mika?”
“…”
“I promised to save you, didn’t I?”
Mika managed to chuckle. “Don’t pretend to be Yuu-chan, you stupid demon; you’re embarrassing yourself.”
 The demon paused for a moment and then it seemed as if something snapped. They began growling, thrashing against the chains, straining to lunge at Mika. It lost all of its former coyness and vented all of its rage and bloodlust upon the vampire.
 “You filthy vampire! Let me go right now!! Release me, or I’ll tear your limbs off! ” “Yuu’s” struggle became more violent as he strained his hands against the chains, but he remained where he was. “I’ll kill you! I’ll kill you and your little family if you don’t release me, MIKA!!”
 “…”
 “MIKA!!”
 Mika quietly turned and left the shed as “Yuu” screamed his name; the chains clashed against the walls like it could break any second.
 “COME BACK HERE, MIKA!!” “Yuu” shrieked the command and roared when Mika did not respond, continuing to try and rip the chains off the wall to no avail.
 Mika didn’t walk too far and he could still hear “Yuu” hollering his name. The vampire leaned against a tree and felt his eyes burning, it had hardly been an hour and it was already this difficult for him to keep a straight face around “Yuu”. The demon seemed to be possessing Yuu-chan for longer and longer, and this worried Mika. What happens if the demon manages to take control of Yuu-chan whenever it pleased? The thought by itself made his body shiver and his eyes began to heat up. He kept a hand over his eyes while the other began digging into the tree for support as “Yuu’s” yells echoed behind him.
 He wanted Yuu back, he wanted to talk to Yuu, and he wanted to see his Yuu again.
 “Yuu-chan… please come back to me.” Mika begged as he steeled himself and returned to the shack to wait out the demon’s possession. It was going to be a lot longer than he expected.
